Information about myself and this website.

Websites are unique to our world. It is a virtual space where anything is posted, and more important, it is data that is shared and used as a resource. The internet is a physical entity that is owned by companies, governments, and citizens. It is made up of many different groups and technologies. We work together to build a unified technology. Sometimes we fall short of this goal, but we endeavor nonetheless.

I spent a decade learning and building the internet. Recently, I took a deep dive into the technologies of the web to build software tools. Now, I used both sides of this coin to solve problems.

My first experiences with technology started with an old PC from my aunt's work. I stepped full force on a pin while being mesmerized by Windows 95. Computers was always my favorite subject, and I naturally excelled at it. From there, I managed to teach myself computer repair, then computer networking. I used these two new trades to offically break into the IT industry. My eye gleamed toward an IT administrator position, but I became the crawl monkey and cable technician at a local low voltage cable company.

This was truly a blessing. I encountered the most annoying problems from a variety of clients when it came to their computer technologies. This frustrated me because I could only solve computer networking issues at the time. As I matured into a computer network technician, my curiosity led me into the realm of electronics. In a short time, my world became big. For example, I was accustomed to micro-controllers, building sensor circuits for the SoC, and using the Linux operating system and sub-familes to build complete systems. I slowly began to find pieces of the puzzles of past clients, and even my own!

I saw how electronics can change the trajectory in my career. The rabbit hole also pulled myself closer and closer to the source. I returned to education via a trade school with a major in electronics, then went deeper into the hole by transferring to a junior college. I returned to computer networking with new skills and different point of view of technology. My next goal is a degree in web server technologies.

I spend my time off exploring electronics and computer technologies. For example, I build circuits for electronic projects. Creating scripts to make life easy and less error prone on computers is a great way to learn how these systems work. As a child of an educator, I am always motivated to learn more. We see this here by the website that I created. My knowledge of web technologies eventually led to a web development course. I had knowledge of what is required to build and connect a web server. The missing piece of puzzle was learning to build a modern website.

My skills are diverse. I am not afraid to lean new technologies and I am able to pivot when needed. This website is a portfolio of my work. Please explore my website. Feedback is appreciated.
